I have had huge break issues. I had to replace three times the brakes and rotor in my car. It only has 50,000 miles on it. The first instance was at 28,000. Then 40,000. . . . And now again. I've been reading about Pt Cruiser brake problems, and how prevalent they are. I am surprised that no recall has been done.
