Two problems related to fuel injection have been reported for the 1998 Chrysler Sebring. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving, the vehicle caught on fire. The vehicle was checked by the insurance company who determined that the fuel rail was leaking fuel onto engine. The consumer's daughter was driving the vehicle when it caught on fire. The fire was in the engine compartment, then the vehicle had blown up. The consumer seeks help in resolving this problem.
While driving at 40 mph vehicle stalled without warning. This was caused by the distributor going bad. Part was replaced.
