Four problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1999 Chrysler Sebring. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle was involved in a frontal collision, and none of the air bags deployed. The vehicle was totaled.
While traveling at 30 mph on icy road condition vehicle spun out of control and landed facing west, when a 18 wheeler hit consumer at about 65 mph, and none of airbags deployed. The air bags failed on head collision prior to the accident, the engine had over heated and would not start. Door won't open due to power locks failure.
Front air bags didn't deploy upon impact. Throttle got stuck while going in reverse at 5mph. Vehicle went to full throttle/going into drive and backing over a curve, jumping a 2 feet retainer wall & into a building. Dealer seemed to be concerned, but not aware of the problem.
While traveling 5 mph, vehicle rolled into the bumper of the car in front of it. As a result of the accident vehicle caught fire, there was no air bag deployment.
