One problem related to rear suspension axle has been reported for the 2000 Chrysler Sebring. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 70 mph the driver's side rear wheel separated from the vehicle. No injuries reported. The vehicle was towed to a local repair shop, and the mechanic determined that the rear axle broke. Axle broke due to faulty grease fitting. Fitting cannot be greased because it is a closed system.
