Two problems related to service brakes have been reported for the 2001 Chrysler Sebring. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The following recall is for year 2007 models. My 2001 Chrysler Sebring sedan anti lock brake system (abs) unit/module is broken and needs to be replaced. Summary: on certain vehicles, the antilock brake system (abs) control module software may cause the rear brakes to lock up during certain braking conditions. When the brakes were applied the pedal went to the floor which resulted in extended stopping distance. The dealer was notified. . The dealer inspected the brakes system and stated everything was fine.
