The contact owns a 2001 Chrysler Sebring. While at a stop light, the passenger side air bag suddenly exploded and shattered part of the windshield. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that the entire air bag needed to be replaced. There were no injuries. The current and failure mileages were 62,299. Updated 08/28/09. 2 Side/window Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 10/02/2002

Consumer states that while driving at 30 mph the consumer hit a pot hole in the road and with out any warning the two front air bags deployed, the passenger side air bag went throught the windshield glass. Mr.

3 Side/window Air Bag problem

When the vehicle hit a dip in the road the drivers and passenger side airbags deployed.
