general problems of the 2002 Chrysler Sebring

Three problems related to structure have been reported for the 2002 Chrysler Sebring. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Structure problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2009

The contact owns a 2002 Chrysler Sebring. While performing maintenance repairs underneath the vehicle, the contact noticed a hole on the front of the rear wheel. It was located at the bottom of the fender and was 12 inches long and 4 inches wide. The vehicle was not repaired or inspected by a technician. The manufacturer stated that there were no current recalls on the vehicle; therefore, no compensation would be provided. The failure mileage was 52,000 and current mileage was 52,500. 2 Structure problem

Failure Date: 10/06/2004

Again another heavy rain leaving a pond on the passenger side floorboard. Witnessed the entry of the water, passed info on to dealer. Dealership replaced right side door weather shield and sealed the mirror.

3 Structure problem

Failure Date: 08/23/2004

Volumes of water on driver side and passenger side floorboards after heavy rain! dealership resealed cowl panel (left and right), resealed firewall, realigned front right door!.
