Takata recall air bag light comes on which may disable airbags is on when stationary and moving.
The horn goes off at anytime that it wants. Unable to stop it unless I pull the horn relay. My air bag light stays on all the time. Cruise control does not work. I had the same problem in chevy tahoe and I know what the problem is. It is the clock-spring and I have searched and made calls to everyone and I will not pay $700-$1,000 for a small peace of plastic which from most of the complaints on this list is about. From what I under stand from the dealer the part they do not make anymore and the cheapest that I can find it for is$417. 00. That is a joke. Chrysler should do a recall on this because is your airbag is not working and your horn going off with it feels like it it is to dangerous for myself and for other drivers. This is a big issue and should be fixed. They had the same problem on the minivans and caravans from 98-2000 and they did a recall on those.

2005 Chrysler Sebring gtc conv. At 3:00 o'clock in the morning, I awoke to my horn just honking away. The air bag light is on all the time. It happened another time in the middle of the night and then happened when I was stopped at a light. Everyone was looking at me as I *dramatically* pounded on the steering wheel. I don't think the pounding is really helping, as it seems to just stop on it's own. The last time it happened was yesterday. As I pulled up to my friends house, and was just about to shut it off, the horn started honking short honks then progressed to looooonnngggg honks. Being labor day, needless to say all the neighbors came out to see what all the racket was about. After pounding on it for a few, I decided to drive away as I was sooo humiliated by this time. It stopped about 6 houses down the street. Go figure. However, it was the first time I was aware that there was a ticking sound coming from the area where the control panel for the mirrors were, on the left side of the front of dashboard.
I purchased a used 2005 Sebring in may 2010 shortly after around July the first week the air bag light came on and now it is a nagging problem it goes on for awhile and then goes off for awhile is this a safety problem driving with no air bag please tell me if it is still under warranty can I take it back to the dealer for repair.
Started engine, airbag light came on, and stays on. Checking for recall before going to dealer.
The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Sebring touring. While driving approximately 40 mph she had difficulty steering. The steering column also turned upside down while driving. The failure occurred intermittently at first, but then became progressively worst over a period of time. Although she experienced an identical failure, her vehicle identification number was excluded from recall number 04v579000 (steering:linkages:knuckle:spindle:arm). The "air bag" warning indicator was illuminated on the instrument panel. The failure mileage was 116,000. The current mileage was 117,000.
¿ all computer electrical systems periodically, sporadically shut down completely: electrical circuit failure I am trapped, locked in my car with no safety, dash, window or temperature controls at night, my headlights flicker then go out steering/upper control arm appears to be cracked transmission doesn't shift, it slams into gear at ten miles per hour or 50 miles p/h something in the undercarriage is snapping loudly when turning or going over speed bumps, something in steering column driving over speed bumps: the front and rear loudly creak and groan air bag light sporadically stays onthen offthen on again engine light sporadically comes onthen offthen on again runs like a truck, chugs, rattles cylinder one misfire at 45k. These are platinum plugs which do not require changing until 100k coolant housing cracked causing coolant gauge to approach red zone and require replacement. Chrysler was aware of this problem but did not notify owner of recall item. My cost: $200 drivers window shudders when rolling up and down.
