Air Conditioner problems of the 2010 Chrysler Sebring

Air conditioning condensor damaged by projectile through the front bumper. My ac stopped blowing cool suddenly, while on vacation. I had it recharged a few weeks earlier and things were fine. A master mechanic told me that the condenser was pierced by an object like a rock, which flew through the ungrilled holes in the front bumper. He said Chrysler designed the ac condensor to fit behind and below the radiator and did not design a grill to protect it. He made fun of italians (fiat) who do not know how to engineer cars. My cost to replace the condensor and refill the coolant was $716. I will never buy another Chrysler.
