I passed a vehicle on a 2 lane highway. When my engine accelerated suddenly it began sputtering and missing badly. I took it to my local trusted mechanic. He said the gaskets were rotten and oil got into the cylinders. He said that this dry rotting of rubber stuff is a common problem he sees in Chrysler. He replaced valve cover gaskets and grommets, ignition coil, and spark plugs. I have also had a popping noise in the front end. He found a defective front wheel bearing, wheel speed abs sensor. My cost $1,328. I have more nightmares about this car. I will never buy another Chrysler.
The contact rented a 2010 Chrysler Sebring touring. The contact stated that while attempting to park, the steering was difficult to turn and emitted a clicking noise. Smoke also emitted from under the hood and within a second, the front end was on fire. The seattle fire department was present. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard for further investigation.
