One problem related to mechanical parking brake has been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Emergency park brake lever has separated from brake twice. Mechanic stated that cable connecting lever to brake mechanism was rubbing against another part, became frayed, and broke. Dealer has been notified.
