Engine Failure problems of the 1997 Chrysler Town & Country

Two problems related to engine failure have been reported for the 1997 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine Failure problem

Failure Date: 07/16/2003

Engine fails while car is in motion. It happens often and at different speeds. Dealer installed a CO-pilot which registered a number of occurences. Since August 2003 dealer tried and was not able to correct this problem.

2 Engine Failure problem

Failure Date: 07/07/1999

Engine failed on interstate while traveling at 70 mph. Problem is intermittent. Dealers have not been able to correct problem.
