Vehicle continues to turn off when slowing down and must restart vehicle while approaching a light or going up a hill. Vehicle taken to repair shop prior and could not find anything wrong with vehicle, repair shop confirmed issues. Have report from shop indicating concern for safety while driving vehicle. Looked for recalls regarding this and nothing reported. Again, vehicle stops running intermitently and must restart vehicle. All power to vehicle stops.

Clockspring failed, causing air bags and horn to malfunction.

The vehicles cruise control did not work. Possible clock spring failure.

The vehicles horn no longer worked while driving. Possible clock spring failure.

Airbag deploy while driving 55mph middle lane, could not see, van filled with smoke, almost crash with my 3 children in van, injury burns on arms ignition failed 4 times replaced 2x under warranty.

10 Air Bag problem

Air bag failure due to broken spring coil wiring assembly. Vehicle horn also failed. Internet search shows this to be a very common failure in Chrysler minivans.

11 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 01/01/1901

Consumer had to replace a defective clockspring which caused the air bag and horn to become inoperable. Consumer is seeking reimbursement.

12 Air Bag problem

Advisor at Chrysler stated clock spring has gone bad and that they get a lot of this problem!!!!.

13 Air Bag problem

When turning the steering wheel the driver heard a rattling noise. The horn stopped operating and the interior lighting remained on. The vehicle had an air bag failure which also caused the cruise control to stop functioning.

14 Air Bag problem

The front struts and clockspring was replaced.

15 Air Bag problem

Consumer notice while traveling air bag indication light flashing and horn not working intermittently due to clock spring. Dealer has been contacted. Please provide further information. Ts.
