The contact owns a 1998 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that another vehicle rear ended the contact and the seat belts failed to secure the front driver and the front passenger. A police report was filed. The front driver and the front passenger both sustained back injuries that required medical attention. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. 3 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2003

Seat belt periodically releases when child car seat rubs against seat belt buckle. The car is a 1998 Chrysler town and country. If the car seat is buckled into one of the car's middle seats tightly, it sometimes presses the release mechanism of the Chrysler seat belt.
