Three problems related to door latch have been reported for the 2000 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Exterior handle on rear sliding doos break easily. My daughter in law puled one side to oen and it broe off. My 5 year old grandson puled on the handle on the other side later and it to proke of. The cost of the new handle is 166. 00. I appears the the quality of material is of a poor quailty and the price for a new one is outrageous.
Van side power sliding door depressed, closing button and sliding door closed, smashing consumer's fingers.
While traveling doors opened on their own.
