Two problems related to child seat have been reported for the 2002 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The portable travel child seat is not able to be installed in the vehicle properly. Several technicians tried unsuccessfully to install child seat in vehicle.
Inspection by a child protection system technician, revealed the shoulder harness on the intergrated child safety seat of 2002 Chrysler t/c would not retract. This is same problem occured on the 2nd seat child seat in van. This poses a serious hazard to the child because the child safety seat may not function properly in a crash.
