Six problems related to air bag light on have been reported for the 2003 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2003 Chrysler town and country. While driving at various speeds, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was sporadic. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure milage was approximately 118,000.
Air bag light stays on.
After ignition air bag light comes on. Will go off intermitently, but for the most part it is on all the time! 2003 t & c lx with a 3. 8 engine.
Air bag light stays on after starting van.
On July 10, 2008 we noticed that our airbag light would come on when we took a corner, but it would go off as we drove straight. It kept doing this for about three weeks and then the air bag light stayed on continually and the horn stopped working. We had it checked out and was tolded it was the air bag clock spring. We talked to the Chrysler dealership and was told that this year was not under the recall for the airbag clock spring.
Air bag light illuminated. Already recalled on previous Chrysler minivans, but not the 2003 town and country. Dealer will be happy to remedy the problem (for $90).
