One problem related to rear suspension springs has been reported for the 2003 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I purchased a handicap accessible van with a lowered floor. The rear leaf springs are attached to the frame with brackets. These brackets are lower than the floor leaving about 3. 25 to 3. 5 inches of clearance to the road. I consider this low clearance as a potential safety hazard and it will also prevent access to a driveway where the vehicle is to be used. Are there regulations or laws governing van conversion road clearance?.
