Four problems related to air bag light on have been reported for the 2004 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The airbag it's been turning off and on constantly. I hadn't have any type of accident at all but now every time I'm driving on the street and the highway the airbag light turns on and stays on for most part of my driving. This is the only car I have and I drive all the time the light will turn on mostly while I'm driving and sometimes while it's park the light stays on.
My air bag light came on about 2 weeks ago. It now stays on most of the time.
The air bag light stays illuminated after starting the vehicle.
I got the town and country Chrysler 2004, and the air bag lights started to blink on and off after a year, in 2005 the lights were permanently on. I had a crash in 2009 not big enough to make the air bag work anyway the air bags red light were on, then the dealer gave the data of how long the air bag were not working, it seems that it had the same problem as the air bags recall 1998/2002. I had several other problems in fixing this car but I do want to know if the 2004 made is included in the recall. I don't want to wait for a big accident to realize that the air bags have to be recall and fix it.
