Electronic Stability Control problem #1

Similar to recall campaign id 14v343000: my vehicle while in motion has experience engine shutoff. This subsequently disables power steering, brakes, and airbags. Twice, in as many weeks, this has occurred on city streets.

Electronic Stability Control problem #2

Traction control and anti lock brake light come on and go simultaneously traction control does not shut off and overheats rotors and eats brake pads.

Electronic Stability Control problem #3

The integrated power module went out on our minivan. The mechanic that was able to diagnose the problem gave us a tentative quote based on the last Chrysler minivan he replaced one on of $380. When he called all of his normal parts distributors no one carried them any longer. He then called Chrysler and they quoted him $570. The mechanic explained to us that it is abnormal because usually parts for older models become less costly, unless you have a collectible car, and he said an 05 t&c is most definitely not a collectible car. He stated that the dealer only carries parts on hand if they are using them regularly, which implies this is a common problem. The mechanic stopped short of outright claiming Chrysler is effectively price gouging consumers. This is a mechanic we trust & have used before, & trust his frankness & frustration about the situation. He even explained that he can not use an used part because of programming issues that Chrysler built in.

Electronic Stability Control problem #4

Was driving through an intersection (after stopped at a red light) and vehicle shut off in the middle of intersection with no warning. Also, for months now, the lights and gauges in dashboard have flickered on and off while driving. . . We took it to dealer and they re-set the computer but it didn't resolve the light flickering issue. We have replaced the alternator and also had the battery checked.

Electronic Stability Control problem #5

My headlights go on and off all the time they even flicker sometimes by turning headlight switch on and off they come back on doesn't happen all the time sometimes I'll be driving and headlights will just go off by flipping switch off and on a few times they come back on.

Electronic Stability Control problem #6

Electronic Stability Control problem #7

My 2005 Chrysler town and country minivan gauges have been irratic while driving down the road. My radio turns on and off, my dash gauges are jumping all over the place, my engine light it on and the airbag light stays on. I have taken my car to the dealer several times and they say there is nothing wrong. I even took a video of what it was doing, because they dealer never wants to fix it. They still say it is fine. Now it is stalling out while driving down the road. I am driving this vehicle with my 2 children and the dealer says it is fine!!! when I get in an accident because they say my car is fine, Chrysler is gong to have a major problem.

Electronic Stability Control problem #8

Bcm ( body control module) causing major electrical issues. Requested dailmer chysler to investigate. No action taken from consumer assistance. According to web, many documented cases of faulty bcm in Chrysler vehicles.

Electronic Stability Control problem #9

Having trouble with abs light coming on and off. Replaced abs sensor, charging system failed, replaced alternator. Driving at freeway speed when traffic stopped. Braked the vehicle, the anti lock braking failed and the brakes locked up causing a skid and was unable to stop and hit the car in front of me. Vehicle was repaired and returned to the road, abs lights continue to go on and off. Took the vehicle to my repair shop and they say that the rear speed sensor is coding for the left side. Repair shop advised that TSB information is known. TSB information: there are known software conflicts on this vehicle which may set the incorrect trouble code and also may show incorrect scan data. Service bulletin # 05-003-07 group: brakes date: June 13, 2007 this TSB is for Chrysler pacifica 2205-2006. My Chrysler t&c has the same sales code (bgf) as the pacifica. I am concerned that this vehicle is a safety hazard as the abs lights are on most of the time. When the abs light is on the computer also states that the traction control is off.
