The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler town and country. While traveling 60 mph, the vehicle stalled. After ten minutes, the vehicle restarted. When the fuel tank was half full, the vehicle immediately ran out of fuel. In addition, the warning lights on the instrument panel no longer illuminated and the seat belt sensor warning indicator illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 265,000.
Air bag warning light on instrument panel illuminates on/off constantly. Came on/off 38 times on a recent 160 mile trip to st. Joe, mo. It happens at all different speeds. *************************************** seat belt warning light also comes on somewhat frequently.
The front right passenger seat belt does not lock or click in place. I researched recall number 04v047000 and learned there were similar issues. Contacted the dealer and was told that there was no recall on my particular vehicle. This appears to be more of a manufacturer problem and a great safety risk. The dealer just took my info but offered no assistance.
