The service dealer was unable to obtain the part from the manufacturer. The manufacturer was not contacted.

: the contact stated while driving 60 mph in the rain at night, there was a loud grinding noise noticed coming from the windshield wiper motor resulting in windshield wiper failure. The next day the vehicle was taken to the dealership for inspection. Upon inspection, the dealership replaced the windshield wiper motor, which remedied the problem. The manufacturer was not alerted.
