general problems of the 2007 Chrysler Town & Country

Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 2007 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Vehicle Speed Control problem

Failure Date: 01/31/2015

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at 40 mph, the check engine and the electronic throttle control (etc) warning lights illuminated as the contact noticed a burning odor. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 123,412. Oo.

2 Vehicle Speed Control problem

Failure Date: 11/28/2014

Chrysler town and country 2007- shortly after refueling the vehicle, with no warning the rpm's will drop and the engine will stall. This event usually happens as I am merging into traffic from the gas station. This is a very dangerous situation because the power brakes and steering assist is lost during a stall!.
