After parking the vehicle about 2 feet from the curb and shifting the gear into park, the gear shifted out of park and into reverse trapping her foot under the wheel. The contact stated that as she was getting out of the vehicle it knocked her to the ground. She sustained injuries to her ankle. The passenger had to move the vehicle off of her foot. The ambulance and the police were notified. She was transported to the hospital. A police was not filed. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was called and someone disconnected her call. She will attempt to contact the manufacturer again. The failure mileage was 24,000.
