The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler Town & Country. The contact stated while driving various speeds, the vehicle would make a loud howling noise. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the technician diagnosed that the rear passenger side wheel bearing was defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vehicle was not included in recall NHTSA campaign number: 12v141000 (suspension). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 40,000 and the current mileage was 44,000.
