general problems of the 2015 Chrysler Town & Country

The vehicle randomly loses all power, which means no power steering and no brakes. It happens randomly and after searching online it appears others have the same issue faced back to the wireless ignition node being faulty. However the previous recall doesn't cover the vehicle I have which is experiencing the exact same symptoms. My wife has already had a close call as she is unable to steer the vehicle without power steering and the brakes don't work at all.

Car shakes and stalls when coming to a stop. No lights on the dash. Took it to a dealer and found it is the sensors in the transmission. These should not break on a van that has under 100,000 miles.

We have had multiple times when we are driving, and our vehicle shuts off and we lose power steering and power brakes. When the van does come to a stop, we are able to restart it and continue on. There is no warning that the van is going to shut off, it just does it. This is our family vehicle. I have found multiple forms online with customers complaining of the same issue with no positive results from the dealerships.

While driving at 70 mph on the highway on 8/13/23, the car electrical system failed. Power steering immediately failed. Brakes unresponsive. Lost control and almost veering into a semi beside us. Coasted and lane changed with no means to signal to others. Once we coasted to a near stop car was put into park without ability to press on break. After 3 min, attempted to start car again and it was responsive again.

Car was running perfectly at 70 mph on the highway and engine cut off without any warning or indication of poor operation, resulting immediate loss of power steering and loss power brakes. This has happened twice in 12 days on Nov 14 and now Nov 26 while driving to whole family to thanksgiving. Mechanic has not been able to duplicate the problem. Very scary. Car has 76k miles. Car will start right back up after 20 min and run perfectly fine. Car has been well maintained with extended warranty.

Some type of rumbling noise and feeling at driver side wheel. Rotor scored on front driver side, but smooth on front passenger side. While in motion.

While driving at highway speeds at night complete electrical shut down, engine must be restarted. This is happening sporadically ,.

Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Chrysler town and country the contact stated that while driving the brake pedal was applied but failed to respond and went to the floor . The front of the vehicle was shaking. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer lampe Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram fiat located at 151 n neeley st, visalia, CA 93291 (559) 737-6400 and informed about the diagnostic fee however the contact declined. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue the failure mileage was 100,225. Ap.

Car shakes hard when applying brakes at around 50 to 70 mph, 1st time into dealer said it was alignment paid for that, 2nd time into dealer said it was motor mounts ? paid for that, still have that problem will never buy Chrysler prod. Again !!!. . . P s I have my tires rotated and balance ever 5,000 mil.
