Had vehicle 3 wks,1st problem took it back to dealer in pittsburgh, KS. The sway bar bushing was wore out. 2nd problem was driving down highway, vehicle would not accelerate, stopped moving completely. Took to dealer again. Warranty ran out on transmission at 70,000, there were only 73,000 miles, would fix for 3,200. Took to mechanic, in stockton, mo. Fixed for 1,000. The planetarium weld had busted, he informed me that it is a very common problem. 3rd problem took nephew home when I went to unbuckle his seat beat, the latch and all come up out of seat,, very scary, could have been is accident. . Had not yet took to dealer. Just happened one day ago.
Owned 2002chrysler Mini van. . Had to depress the brake extra hard for it to engage in park and if I'm in a hurry and didn't step on the brake extra hard it won't stay in park. In fact all of the letters will have squares around them indicating it's not in park. A couple of times it started moving on it's own. Luckily I was close by and corrected the problem. I have brought it to the attention of the Chrysler service person that services my car, and I'm told that's the way it is. Well I don't think so, it's very scary to think your car is in park and it isn't. I don"t know what "oem" means so I indicated no.
: the contact stated while driving 65 mph the engine light illuminated. The vehicle started to jerk and then stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealership. They determined the transmission needed to be repaired or replaced and requires further inspection. The manufacturer was alerted.
While at a stop transmission caused the vehicle to jerk forward. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.
When braking or making a turn vehicle will lunge forward with the transmission ,and when backing out or driveing forward it will loss power at a higher speed like merging to get on the highway. The first time replaced parts, and second time replaced trans axle. But still having same problems. Did some dignostic on it the third time. Vehicle is in the shop again.
