Steering problem #1

I had about 36,000 miles on my van. I don't live on dirt roads, all pavement driving. I could feel the front end wobbling. I took the vehicle in for service and it was determined that both outer tyrods were about ready to break. Both outer tyrods were replaced at my expense. I still have the parts.

Steering Column problem #2

There is a water leak through the steering column down to the driver's side carpet floor. The water tends to make the accelerator and brake pads wet. Also, steering column tends to make a clicking sound whenever the vehicle is being driven.

Hydraulic Power Assist Steering System problem #3

Consumer received recall 04v386000 concerning power steering. Dealer refused to do the work.
