1 Front Seat Belt Anchorage problem of the 2002 Chrysler Voyager

Failure Date: 11/01/2001

Please recall the Chrysler gen3 seatbelts. They have been tested by independant organizations and have been shown to unlatch during tests. The gen3 seatbelt design fails the standard auto industry test. The new safety buckle, the gen4 meets the industry standard. The gen3 belt should be recalled and replaced by the gen4 belt. My wife and I just bought a 2002 Chrysler Voyager that has the gen3 belts in the rear seats. Our first baby is due this June. We are very concerned that if our baby is in a child safety seat restrained by a gen3 belt, that it might come unlatched during an accident and injure or kill our baby. Please recall the gen3 seatbelts. Thank you.

2 Front Seat Belt Anchorage problem of the 2001 Chrysler Voyager

I want to complain about the seat belts in the Chrysler products. I think Chrysler should be made to recall these gen 3 seat belts. I am very worried about my family's safety and Chrysler is refusing to correct the situation.
