1 Brake lights switch defect investigations of Chevrolet Colorado vehicles
This investigation was opened on Feb. 25, 2009. It was closed on Jul. 30, 2009. This investigation resulted in a vehicle safety recall.
On July 28,2009, gm initiated a regional recall campaign on certain model year (my) 2004-2009 Chevrolet colorado and GMC canyon vehicles and my2006-2008 isuzu I-series vehicles. The states and u. S. Territories involved are al, az, FL, GA, hi, la, ms, nv, nm, pr, SC, TX, vi and ut.
Vehicles covered by this investigations include: the 2004 Chevrolet Colorado, the 2005 Chevrolet Colorado, the 2006 Chevrolet Colorado, the 2004 GMC Canyon, the 2005 GMC Canyon, the 2006 GMC Canyon, the 2006 Isuzu I-280, the 2006 Isuzu I-280/i-350, the 2006 Isuzu I-350.

2 Brake lights switch defect investigations of Chevrolet Colorado vehicles
This investigation was opened on Dec. 2, 2005. It was closed on May. 1, 2006. This investigation resulted in a vehicle safety recall.
By letter dated April 26, 2006, gm notified the agency that it is conducting a safety recall (NHTSA recall no. 06v139) involving certain model year (my) 2004-06 Chevrolet colorado, GMC canyon and 2006 my isuzu i280/i350 vehicles. Gm's recall covers 404,733 vehicles.
Vehicles covered by this investigations include: the 2005 Chevrolet Colorado, the 2005 GMC Canyon.

3 Front air bags defect investigations of Chevrolet Colorado vehicles
This investigation was opened on Nov. 10, 2004. It was closed on Mar. 14, 2005. All reports indicate inadvertent deployment during ignition start-up (key-on) and with the vehicle not in motion. Reported injuries were minor and consist of skin abrasion and bruises. The incident dates ranged from July through November 2004.

4 Steering electric power assist system defect investigations of Chevrolet Colorado vehicles
On January 27, 2016, general motors LLC (gm) notified the office of defects investigation (odi) that it would conduct safety recall 16v054 to address a loss of electric power steering caused by a poor electrical connection within the torque-sensor harness connector in 2,988 model year (my) 2015
