On may 30, 2008, the office of defects investigation (odi) opened a preliminary evaluation based on consumer complaints alleging that smoke and/or fire erupted in the engine compartment of model year (my) 2005-2006 Nissan armada and titan vehicles.

2 Side window air bags defect investigations of Nissan Armada vehicles

This investigation was opened on Jan. 25, 2008. It was closed on May. 30, 2008. The subject vehicles are equipped with optional seat-mounted side air bags. All vehicles are equipped with standard frontal air bags and side air curtains.
