Vehicle description: heavy duty trucks equipped with brake valves manufactured by honeywell bendix. The orientation and location of the brake valve is such that water can get into the valve through a vent in the valve. The water will contaminate the air system and could freeze the brake valve.

Dealers will inspect the air brake system and modifications will be made to the brake valve.

Owner notification began February 29, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact kenworth at1-206-828-5000.
