Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The molding flash on the primary lever may prevent the operation of the g-lock and tilt lock functions on some of the driver's side retractors.

Dealers will replace the left front retractor assemblies.

Owner notification began March 18, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact daimlerchrysler at 1-800-992-1997.
