Recall Summary:
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The front coil springs may not have sufficient corrosion resistance in areas of the country where significant amounts of DE-icing salts are applied to roads in the winter.
How to Fix:
Dealers will replace the front coil spring.

Owner notification began April 24, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.
