Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The automatic transmission gearshift lever utilizes a threaded knob with a release button. If the threaded knob is not positioned correctly on the lever, the release will not function correctly.

Dealers will replace the gearshift lever threaded knob positioning spacer.

Owner notification began March 30,2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Ferrari at 1-201-816-2651.
