Vehicle description: generation ii electric vehicles. Some replacement charger receptacle assemblies used for warranty repairs were built with internal component variation. This variation can generate arcing during the charge cycle.

icon2 How to Fix:

Dealers will inspect the serial number on the charge receptacle and, if necessary, replace the charge receptacle assembly.

Owner notification began November 16, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Saturn at 1-800-553-6000.
