Recall Summary:
Vehicle description: minivans equipped with 3. 0l engines. An accelerator cable was kinked during installation, causing the core wires to eventually fray.
How to Fix:
Dealers will install a new accelerator cable.

Owner notification began February 23, 2001. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Ford at 1-800-392-3673.
