Vehicle description: heavy duty trucks. There is an electrical problem with a remote power module. These vehicles were built with the ability to add six remote switches per module, which are mounted outside the cab and are used to turn on and off circuits that perform custom electrical functions. If two or more remote switches are actuated on within 100ms of one another, all six of the outputs on the remote power module will turn on. If two or more remote switches are actuated off with 100ms of one another, all six of the outputs on the remote power module with turn off.

icon2 How to Fix:

Dealers will replace all the remote power modules. Owner notification began July 27, 2001. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact International at 1-800-448-7825.
