Recall Summary:On certain motorcycles, a fuel valve's outlet nipple, to which the fuel line attaches, may pull out of the fuel valve, allowing fuel to exit onto the motor and primary drive.
How to Fix:Dealers will replace the fuel (shut off) valve. Owner notification began April 1, 2002. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact big dog at 1-316-267-2597.
