This could cause the plug to become dislodged from the headlamp, resulting in a loss of forward lighting, increasing the risk of a crash.

On certain motorcycles, the connector plug supplying power to the headlamp might not be fully installed on the prongs of the bulb.

icon2 How to Fix:

Dealers will ensure the connector is properly seated on the bulb prongs. If any components are damaged, the dealer will replace them. Owner notification began on April 14, 2003. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact kawasaki at 1-866-802-9381.
