icon3 Recall Summary:

Certain medium duty conventional cab trucks were produced with a body wiring harness with no protective conduit in the area under the driver's feet to reduce the potential for harness wear. The body wiring harness includes sdm wiring that could be damaged from chafing and wear by the vehicle operator.

Dealers will inspect the wiring harness for potential damage, repair or replace the harness if required, and add conduit to all harnesses free of charge. The recall begaon on may 3, 2005. Owners may contact Chevrolet at 1-800-630-2438 or GMC at 1-866-996-9463.
