Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 121, "air brake systems (abs). " the indicator light that notifies the driver of a malfunction in the trailer abs was not installed as required.

Dealers will install the abs malfunction warning light free of charge. The recall began on February 6, 2006. Owners may contact peterbilt at 940-591-4201.
