Recall Summary:
On certain trailers equipped with accuride aluminum wheels, the wheels may not have been properly pre-stressed and may experience premature cracking on the disc face that could result in failure.
How to Fix:
Accuride is conducting the owner notification and remedy for this campaign and replace the wheels free of charge. The recall began on April 25, 2007. Owners may contact accuride at 1-800-869-2275 or polar at 1-800-826-6589.
