If this part is defective, a failure of the wiper mechanism may occur while in use, making the wipers totally inoperative affecting the driver's visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.

Recall Summary:
Certain motor homes built on prevost chassis may have a defective pivot mounting plate on the wiper mechanism. Some parts may be defective due to a weak or missing weld bead on one pivot.
How to Fix:
Dealers will repair the pivot mounting plate of the windshield wiper mechanism free of charge. The recall began on August 14, 2006. Owners may contact country coach at 1-800-547-8015.
