Recall Summary:
Certain my 2005 and 2006 thomas built fs65 and fs65 school bus chassis manufactured between January 3, 2005, and September 21, 2006. The battery cable may chafe on a bracket adjacent to the starter.
How to Fix:
Freightliner will notify owners and reposition the battery cable free of charge. The recall began on February 16, 2007. Owners may contact freightliner at 800-547-0712.
