icon3 Recall Summary:

On certain car haulers equipped with michelin 305/70r19. 5 front tires on 19. 5 x 8. 25 steel wheels, the tire bead may have been damaged when the tire was mounted in the wheel if the rim was not properly lubricated. Air may escape through a damaged bead into the tire between the cord and the outer rubber and cause a sidewall blowout or tread separation. The tire may loose air rapidly.

icon2 How to Fix:

Dealers will remove the front tires from the wheels for inspection. Tires with damaged tire beads will be replaced free of charge. The recall began on March 14, 2007. Owners may contact freightliner at 1-800-547-0712.
