Recall Summary:On certain recreational trailers, a furnace vent was not installed. The lack of an exhaust vent allows furnace combustion products containing carbon monoxide fumes to vent into the trailer.
How to Fix:Owners will be instructed to visually check for the presence of the exhaust vent on the exterior of the vehicle. If the exhaust vent is not present or if there are any other questions, the owner will be instructed not to use the furnace and to take their trailer to the nearest dutchmen dealer or service center for repair. The recall began on December 31, 2006. Owners should contact dutchmen at 1-219-534-1224.
