On certain trucks, the vacuum hose may have been manufactured with insufficient wall thickness allowing the hose to collapse during normal vehicle operation. Collapse of the vacuum hose could reduce brake booster effectiveness.

Dealers will replace the vacuum hose free of charge. The recall began on April 20, 2007. Owners may contact freightliner at 1-800-547-0712.
