The mobile tensioner can come into contact with the timing belt cover which could cause the timing belt to fail and consequently stop the engine increasing the risk of a crash.

On certain motorcycles, the horizontal and vertical cylinders mobile timing belt tensioner is dimensionally incorrect.
How to Fix:
Dealers will replace the existing mobile timing belt tensioner using updated components. The recallbegan on April 4, 2007. Owners may contact ducati at 1-408-253-0499.
