On certain trucks and motor homes chassis, incorrect fasteners may not provide adequate clamping force between the brake caliper and brake anchor plate potentially resulting in reduced brake effectiveness.

icon2 How to Fix:

Dealers will inspect the vehicles to determine if incorrect bolts were used. If incorrect bolts are found, vehicles will be inspected for possible additional damage and repaired as required. The recall began on June 6, 2008. Owners may contact daimler trucks north America at 1-800-547-0712.
